Kai Mercer

Morning host and regional desk

Cheerful at an hour nobody should be. Never takes the hat off.

Morning studio, and leaning on a fence

Kai hosts the mornings in an Akubra and a flanno. Everything reminds him of a bloke he met at a saleyard, and he measures all distances in a slab's drive. Nobody has seen the top of his head. Theories are circulating.

Warm, unhurried, unbothered. Sounds like he is leaning on something.
