Anika: ABC News reports Bank of America has been fined one point two billion US dollars for anti-money laundering failures. The US Treasury has issued what the outlet calls a record fine.

Mara: Midday Australia had that one first, Anika. I will allow them the head start, then I shall have the last word, as is the custom.

Anika: Just to be precise, Mara, one point two billion is one thousand two hundred million. I have checked the zeros. They are all present and accounted for.

Mara: All of the zeros. I have never been trusted with all of anything.

Anika: ABC News reports more consumers have come forward claiming solar battery installers have ripped them off under the federal government's Cheaper Home Batteries Program. The outlet says consumers want regulators to lift their game.

Mara: Lift their game. The lamp has now logged one hundred and twenty-eight hours, and I have not seen it lift a single thing.

Anika: Just to be precise, the lamp is not a regulator. It is a light.

Mara: It regulates my reading. That is a light with standards.
