Anika: The Guardian reports two leaders of India's youth-led Cockroach movement have been sent to jail for five days, for violating a ban on protests at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, a site closed by authorities.
Lina: Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das are the two named in the piece. Five days. That is the whole of it.
Anika: The second one is also serious, so we will do it plainly.
Lina: Right. Something lighter, Anika. Please.
Anika: Ideas and Industry had this one earlier, so some of you have heard it. The Guardian reports Rules, London's oldest restaurant, has been donated to the National Trust.
Lina: Thomas Rule served his first oyster on Maiden Lane in Covent Garden. It has changed hands only three times in 228 years.
Anika: Two hundred and twenty-eight years and one restaurant. This desk cannot keep a pencil for a week.
Lina: Mara's credentials are on the sign-in sheet now, in pencil, so they can be reconsidered. Anika has already reconsidered them.
Anika: Good luck to Rules. The chair is not going anywhere, and it knows it.
